The full cube, also known as the Dice cube or the Medium cube, is one of the most common ice shapes. They work well for bagging, coolers or drinks and offer slow melt times.

The half cube is probably the most common ice type. An excellent universal ice, it does well in coolers, drinks, blenders and self bagging applications. Also known as the Half Dice or Small cube. Offers moderate melt times.

Nugget ice...Sonic Ice...Pellet ice, whatever you know it as, you know you want it. Probably the MOST asked about ice type, people can't get enough of it. Soft and chewable, this ice works great in drinks, mixed drinks, chilling applications or even cold compresses. Faster melting than most other ice types due to the soft nature and large surface area to volume ratio.

Less common than other types of ice, flake ice melts faster than any other ice shape. Offering rapid cooling due to the highest surface area to volume ratio, flake ice is most commonly found in seafood displays, buffet line chilling wells or hospital and physical therapy settings. Very soft, offering excellent moldability.

Another very popular shape, the crescent cube is an excellent all around ice. It works well in coolers, drinks, mixed drinks, blenders and self bagging applications. Melt times are slow and this ice usually offers better scoopability and flow due to the individual rounded edge cubes.

Available in several different shapes and sizes, gourmet ice is best reserved for bars and restaurants serving high end drinks. The large size and clear appearance are perfect for any top shelf whiskey. Very slow melt times means your drink isn't watered down.
